Never lose your dictated content again. Learn how to use Alter's Transcription History feature to automatically save, access, and reuse your last 10 dictations for improved productivity and content recovery.

Accessing Your Transcription History
- Access History Menu: Click on the three dots (⋯) in the main interface then Dictation History
- View Your History: A dropdown menu will appear showing your recent transcriptions
- Select and Copy: Click on any previous transcription to automatically copy it to your clipboard

- Rolling History: When you create an 11th dictation, the oldest one is automatically removed

- Open Settings: Navigate to Alter’s settings

- Enable Auto-Copy: Toggle “Keep dictation in Pasteboard” to automatically copy every transcription to your clipboard
